Rockbottoms Weekender Torquay:
11th - 13th Jan
Mandy is teaching and Ian is DJing Tango, WCS & Blues. Rockbottoms
weekenders create a very friendly atmosphere in a top hotel with great
food and a beautiful split level dance hall. They
gather together excellent teachers, fab DJs & put them all in one place
where the staff are friendly & helpful and where you will be properly
looked after.

Jive Addiction Southport
1st - 3rd Feb
Mandy has been asked to teach solo Jazz and Pilates. Ian will be teaching
his popular Tai Chi class and DJing the Tango Milonga and the Latin
Quarter. No dance classes for us this time...well we have taught at every
event, so a small break is in order. The fabulous Daveed & Kim will be
teaching Argentine Tango this time and Benji & Heidi are over from the
States teaching WCS.

West Coast Swing - Mo'Jive Southampton

Catriona Wiles (UK WCS champion) is running a series of workshops hosted
by Mo'Jive. We are trying to promote WCS in the Dorset/Hampshire area and
will be at the workshop to help beginner's get started on this stylish
smooth dance. It is hoped that we will eventually set up a regular weekly
class with Mo'Jive to make WCS accessible locally. In the mean time we
will be reinforcing Cat's classes at the 2 Tone freestyle events.

At last...a regular WCS class night at Bramshaw Village Hall. Equidistant
from Southampton, Bournemouth & Salisbury. In partnership with Mo'Jive and
with the guidance of Catriona Wiles (UK Champion) Ian & Mandy will be
teaching WCS and providing a chance to freestyle to some fabulous music.

Latin Jive Party Charity Event 10th Apr
A charity event raising
money for The Royal Bournemouth Hospital Jigsaw Appeal.
A Latin style charity
party at the Hamworthy Recreation Centre. A fun night with classes,
cabarets etc. Sugarfoot (Ian) will be spinning a great mix of Latin music
for Modern Jivers including: Cha Cha, Neo Tango, R&B Salsa & soft Latin
grooves. Doors open at 7:30pm. Classes start at 8pm. Only £5 on the door.
All proceeds to charity.
2nd UK WCS Championship 2008 11 - 13 Apr

“Classic” Division, £500 1st Prize, Guest Stars from the USA include
